Book: Only A Woman
Author: Terri McFaddin
A woman’s life is completely disrupted when her peaceful village is attacked by a band of rebels. Much to her amazement, she moves beyond self-imposed limitations and become the champion of her people.
“But I’m only a woman” she wept as she spoke these words to her dying husband a brave leader who was gravely wounded. You must make your way to find help her husband pleaded, trembling with fear, she tried to answer “But how can I make a journey through enemy territory? What about the Baby? Besides, I don’t know how to fight. I’m only a Woman.”
This is a fascinating journey where the final destination is spiritual growth and maturity in which we realize that through the struggles in our lives; through our fears and disappointments that even when we feel all alone and that we as a woman don’t have much to offer. God is calling us out to stand up towards the enemy, do not wait to be rescued, accept the challenge, know your enemy and face him with wisdom and might and then celebrate your victory knowing that God is ever present.
I totally recommend this amazing book as it will take you through a journey of seeing God at work in your life.
If you think that you are “only a woman” and have limitations to what you can do for God; get ready to be set free to celebrate God’s phenomenal call on your life and the gifts that are uniquely yours.
